History - After Rebecca reached an agreement with Baby’s owners they sent Rebecca three Lipizzaner mares so that Baby would know how to act in proper Lipizzaner fashion. Noble is one of those mares. She is the oldest mare and successful broodmare that brought several talented stallions into the world. She is now living in happy retirement, acting now as the lead mare for the Lipizzaner mares at Rebecca’s stable.

Personality - She was always a calm horse, and has mellowed out even more in her old age. This makes her an excellent lead mare as her calming presence puts the other horses around her at ease. But after years of raising foals she has also learned how to discipline, and she keeps Baby from getting too bratty. She is quickly turning into the sweet old grandmare of the stable that you go to for stories and spoiling. Rebecca is waiting for the day when she discovers kittens all over Noble to complete the old lady cliche the horse has going for her.

There was hardly anyone in the whole Seireitei who had the power and influence to successfully interrupt the very busy schedule of a noble man. But then again, not just anyone had such a special bond with him, nor shared the passion of creating immaculate characters such as Wakame Ambassador and bringing them forth for the whole Seireitei to enjoy(even when many seemed to under-appreciate the effort and artistic eye it took to make such things come to fruition). The drawing she was offering of the seaweed creature and one of her infamous rabbit-like characters posing together had forced a pause to happen and a sense of immense pride swell inside a toned, unwavering chest. One could only appreciate the talent as they were presented with such a thoughtful gift - it felt almost too overwhelming to reach out and touch the piece, yet of course such emotions stayed masked on the stoic features as Byakuya did so.

"I thank you and accept your generous gift, Rukia."

There's no many people that understood the very concept of art, or better said art this small shinigami had. Only those of sharp mind and great wisdom could grasp the potentials in drawing skills she had. Small amount of people, and yet enough, was there to encourage her to pursue the desire of being an artist when circumstances allowed it. Among them, a very notable mention, was her brother. He himself had an astonishing artistic style she might have envied at times but-- but she looked upon him as source of inspiration, to strive and seek the improvements that by the time could be reached! With a wide smile on her face, she presented her newest drawing to Byakuya which was regarded as one of finest, it is what she felt so. Happiness filled her tiny heart as she tried not to cry-- that'd not be appropriate even though those tears would be crafted of the finest joys.

"Thank you, nii-sama!"

She spoke with a cheerful tone.

"I- I have another one to show you! If you have spare time to see it— I would not like to take more of it if you have been busy, nii-sama."

When it came down to it, responsibilities were not a thing that could be escaped from. That thought alone echoed in the busy mind, which was trying it's best to arrange words into sentences that would be worth letting out. Following the steady footsteps of Muramasa, it felt almost unnecessary to voice out any opinions being held back; they both must have recognized the positions they were in in this current situation. This was not a matter of the Gotei 13, nor the living, but the noble house of the Kuchikis and that was all there was to it. Then again, the details of this invasion's main goal were still slightly obscured, though it was obvious to Byakuya that this had to be something related to a man named Kuchiki Kōga, the unhinged man which their family would rather not speak about and which they made sure to keep as a shameful secret from most of Seireitei all these years. Would it be too brash to inquire about the prisoner from the estranged zanpakuto? Maybe. Yet the possibility to do so was quite intriguing to say the least.

"Muramasa. For whatever it is you aim to achieve, I will stand by and provide any needed assistance, as promised. Though it would most likely prove useful to be knowledgeable of any variables in play in case something unexpected happens."

The captain did not ask, but he expected the other to pick up on the clear suggestion to share some of the information being withheld.

His reiatsu had a PURITY that you would not find anywhere else. A soul that had not gone through cycles. Not tainted by a past life. Such was the nature of Kuchiki Byakuya. Muramasa's emotions were conflicted. He had spent many years in the good company of the Kuchiki Clan, and learnt to recognize their reiatsu as family. Of course, Kōga had not been a Kuchiki by blood. Still, this great clan had been his home. He had hoped to help Kōga bring honor to the family. But alas. The betrayal. when Kuchiki Ginrei turned Kōga away. Cast him off, like filthy, not worthy of the Kuchiki name.

So how about Kuchiki Byakuya? Did the young captain follow in his grandfather's footsteps? Or, did he understand that what Ginrei had done was WRONG? Did he want to make amends? Could he trust him? Muramasa had been alone for so, so, so long. He wanted - DESPERATELY - to be able to trust someone.

Byakuya PROMISED to stand by him and provide assistance. Could Muramasa trust his word? Ginrei had not kept his word. He hadn't treated Kōga like family. Hadn't stood by him. Was Byakuya the same? Muramasa didn't know.

❝ What I aim to achieve should be clear as day, should it not? ❞ He said, still walking ahead of the Shinigami, not turning to look at him. Not afraid he'd attack him. ❝ I am a Zanpakuto. I belong with my master. I must return to him. ❞ His voice dropped a little more quietly. Not because he was ashamed, but because it HURT. It hurt admitting out loud just how ALONE he was. Everything he'd said to the other Zanpakuto when he started the Rebellion had been a lie. He'd turned them against their masters, because that was his nature. But a Zanpakuto needed to be with its Shinigami master. An existence filled with separation was simply too painful.

This type of gentle evening rain held such beauty. The scents, the sounds, the visuals; it was a symphony created by the only composer greater than any other, mother nature. That said, it was not that out of place to spot a familiar lone figure glad in a white haori wandering through the streets of central Seireitei whenever scheduling and the weather were in such harmony, allowing enjoyment of the elements to occur. Evening strolls such as this did carry the weight of silent melancholy though as the empty city gave room for thoughts and memories to manifest more clearly. It made the space next to the noble man feel empty as his fingers ached to reach out to hold a hand that hadn't been there for years now. Bittersweet was the word bouncing in a nostalgic mind as slightly soaked feet took an absent-minded turn to the left, only to be greeted by a presence. Someone was crouching next to a wall, their back leaning against the smooth stone surface and face aimed upwards to catch the falling rain droplets. Just who were they and what exactly had led them to this lonely side street during a rainy night out of all places? A few steps closer gave enough time to decide just how to approach this conversation that was about to happen before a steady, firm voice of the captain spoke up.

"What are you doing out here by yourself?"

Akiko swallowed a squeal when a presence smoke to her, having been completely lost in her thoughts due to the relaxing sounds of the rain. When she registered who the voice belonged to, Akiko straightened her posture like a brand new ruler before dusting herself in a feeble attempt to look professional.

She coughed into her fist to ensure there isn't something in there to make her voice crack.

"Good evening, captain Kuchiki." Akiko mentally high five herself for the steady tone. "I was just taking myself out for a walk. Rainy days are one of my favorite weathers and I already missed out on too many by being cooped up in the office all day. It's nice how everything has too quiet down. Like a vacation for my eardrums."

Akiko cocked her head to side. Now it was her turn to be curious.

"Is it okay to ask what are you doing here in these late hours? I doubt there isn't some chaos you need to take down at your household."

"Taichou..." Renji frowned as Byakuya pushed him off to the side, and moved forward in his stead to face the enemy. "But.... yer injured." His captain was known to be stoic, and to be quite blunt, emotionally stunted. Quite cold and never showing much compassion. Yet in this moment, even though he hadn't outright said it, Renji could feel his captain's love for him (for a lack of a better word), in his own way.

Gripping his zanpakuto a bit tighter, he cursed himself for not being stronger. If he was, would Byakuya be able to trust in his abilities to fight the enemy without worry? "Kuchiki Taichou... let me fight. Yer injured. Ya should rest. I got this. Trust in me. I won't disappoint ya."

Stares intently during a captains' meeting. There is something resembling a watermelon seed stuck in the young captain's hair and it is quite distracting. It might appear as a very cold and judgemental stare to some witnesses present.

       A captain's impromptu assemblage had been requisitioned, approximately an hour prior to the current time, tick, tick, tick, does it elapse throughout the width of the expanse, had a Jigokuchō  disrupted the adolescent mid-finalizing a report, on the pivotal subject of the Gotei Thirteen's exceptional progression in its steadily assuaging reconstruction. Edifices were once again encompassing the totality of their environs as well as pleasingly verdure trees and dissimilar diversities of varicolored plantations. - Barracks were accumulating an accustomed normalization, life burgeoned anew akin to candlelight, with newly assigned officers. - What wasn't too agreeable, however, was the stringent eyes that he sensed, intently fixated or so it came across, he refused to glance leftward to ascertain, as they scrutinized adjacent to where he stationed, in his explicit direction in place of the articulating head commander. Renji's eyes harden, his jaw tightening as Byakuya heaved a soft sigh in light of his question, his eyes never leaving his paperwork until they finally cast him a soft glance. Those eyes, the ones he could never read - cold and hard.

It'd been a year now... ever since he had been transferred here from the eleventh. For what reason, he himself didn't even know why. The sudden jump to a fukutaichou position, not to mention in a divsion vastly different from the one he'd been in previously, under the tutelage of a man he deemed his enemy... It'd not been easy.

If one thing had changed, it'd be how he viewed this man before him. Hard feelings softened, as he slowly came to learn more about the captain and his past. It didn't excuse his behavior... no. But it did allow Renji another perspective entirely. From the position of enemy to a man he vowed to surpass, someone whom he had come to highly respect and hoped to even achieve a smidgen of his prowess.

A question for a question. Bullshit. Positions, titles... nothing of this meant anything to Renji. He cared not about nobility, or backgrounds. Just the character of the person - yet for Byakuya, this might not have seemed to be the case. It stung to think that after all his hard work and dedication to the craft - he had not yet earned his respect of his captain.

As dense as Renji was in many situations, he understood what Byakuya meant. "So ya mean t'say that I haven't earned it yet? This trust of yers?" He didn't know what it would accomplish by repeating it... if only to serve to hurt his own feelings even more. Yet he wanted to hear it directly from the other's mouth. "What more... can I do. Have to do before ya start trustin' me?"
