@fcundwings is getting a slightly out of place Kat
She was, in all honesty, surprised she had made it this far. That she had managed to somehow enter Belfast undetected. Though she supposed she had Hayden to thank for that -- the Grazer girl having set her up with a fake passport (just in case) and private transport. All thanks to a charter pilot owing her a favor or two.
Outside of her childhood friend, she hadn't told anyone she was leaving. Not Opie, not Jax, no one. Was it a shitty move? Just disappearing on them? Probably. But she hadn't had time to argue. Not when Abel's life was on the line.
And yeah, maybe they didn't have any definitive proof that Cameron was headed to Belfast, but come on. The man was an IRA piece of shit. Where the fuck did they think he was going to go? Aruba?
No. He'd come here. And when he did...
Well, let's just say, the list of possibilities was endless. Each more painful than the last. Because Katherine Teller didn't fuck around when it came to her family. Especially her nephew.
For now, though, she pushed away those thoughts, focusing instead on the task at hand. Making contact with SAMBEL and seeing if they wouldn't be willing to provide a bit of back up when it came to facing the army. As Kat was almost certain they would have to do.
Watching the streets of Belfast zip past, she thought about how very different it was than home. The cramped city streets. The wet weather. The constant feel of unrest. It made her wonder what her dad must have thought during his visits.
When the cab pulled to a stop outside Ashby Provisions, Kat shoved what she was sure was way too much fare at him. But then she didn't really have time to stop and figure out the whole sterling thing. Not if she wanted to catch the owners before they locked up for the night. Word was they were friends of the club.
And that was how Katherine Teller came to be walking through the door of Maureen Ashby's shop at 9:30pm on a Tuesday night. More than a little soaked from her sprint across the courtyard (and her wait for a cab earlier).
“Hello?”
