Not gonna lie - I think the main reason why I decided to go for 'Nobucest' rather than 'Odacest' is just that the whole aspect of going on the shared part of their names make me think of Zucest :'D

oh my god guys I just found. that absolute most perfect Nobucest fic I have been yearning for but did not know existed!!!!!!! It's Pyre by specterrific and technically it's Nobukatsu/Kippoushi but every Nobu form is forever aneue to Nobukatsu and OP is 100% pro Nobucest in whatever form and it just goes into detail about WHY Nobukatsu might feel so weird around Kippoushi in particular and it's so angsty and poetic and fucking perfect on top of being incredibly hot smut and I really just can't recommend it enough <333333
I feel liiiike if Nobunaga did ever end up getting into an actual relationship with Nobukatsu. It'd be either:
a) super angsty, feeling like she's failed as a big sister by enabling this, but just not being able to bear seeing her little brother cry. And overall being incredibly embarrassed and secretive and hesitant about it.
Or
b) 'Well, of course someone as amazing as Oda Nobunaga should have a pretty boy to parade around with her! Hold your chest out, Nobukatsu: you're a lover of the great Nobunaga, now! Take some pride in your station!!'
With no in between.
Nobukatsu really is The Character Of All Time. He's a villain who tried to take over the world and trap the protagonists in a stable time loop. He's a pathetic loser whose attack animations are all jokes. He's a sweet earnest kid who thinks really lowly of himself and desperately yearns for validation. He is impossibly, apocalyptically horny for his older sister. His only notable role in history was trying to launch a coup against aforementioned sister and then dying. He truly does not qualify at all to be a Servant by the setting's own standards but got added as a unit anyway because he looks so cool. He's everything. He's nothing. She's Nobunaga. He's just Ken.
And now, with all the advances of modern civilisation, we can look at images of his historical nobody getting absolutely railed by his anime smug pseudo-loli warmonger conqueror elder sister. God bless the planet Earth o7
A comic: Nobunaga, tired from work, arrives home in the evening. The door flies open to reveal a cute and cheerful Nobukatsu, dressed in comfortable clothing and an apron.
"Welcome home, Aneue darling!" He coos. "Dinner should be ready in just a few minutes! I've also prepared the bath just for you. Or," his voice grows coy, "would your rather..."
Nobunaga hugs him around his back and dips him immediately. "I'll have you," she murmurs in a husky whisper.
The rest degenerates as you'd expect.
Scroll down to see that this was all nothing more than a fantasy. In the real world, Nobukatsu and Nobunaga sit side by side at a table, eating in silence.
The thought bubble trail leads to Nobukatsu. And Nobunaga.
Something I'm realising in scouring Pixiv for Nobucest is that Japanese artists don't seem to tag for incest very often.
I've only seen one compilation tagged that sort of way (though the tag was auto-translated as 'incest adultery' for some reason? Though neither of the characters involved have other partners in the art itself or canon, as least as far as I can tell...) and the vast majority of the other works using that tag were original fiction, where I guess the tag has a lot more informational use.
In fact, a lot of the Nobucest arts/compilations weren't even tagged with the ship tag KatsuNobu. They just got the more generic 'Oda Siblings' tag. Some of them had sorta 'introductory' images listing the contained content which referenced Nobunaga/Nobukatsu 'coupling' (CP, the JP term for 'shipping'), but (unless my bad Japanese just missed it) far from all of them.
Which: at first I was just reaaaaally desperate for any specifically incestuous content, so it disappointed me with how hard it was to track down. Cue unexpected delight once I broadened my search to any artworks involving those two :DDD
On the other hand, I feel like I've also seen works tagged 'KatsuNobu' that... were pretty darn subtly shippy. I swear sometimes I'd have no idea that was the thought behind it if not for the tag.
There's no grand point here: it's just interesting!!! I'd guess part of the thing is that there's less of an Anti backlash against incest shipping in JP fandom, so it's not considered a 'mandatory' warning, and it's just sorta assumed that if a work features two siblings (especially where one canonically has a bit of a... siscon obsession with the other) that there might be shippy stuff between them. That, or maybe this fandom it just less organised than others? FGO is a preeeetty big fandom, though...
IDK point is that I can point y'all towards some Nobucest if you're wanting it <3 Here's the Oda Siblings tag, and here's KatsuNobu!! I've also seen a couple of comic/art translations on Danbooru if you're hankering for some more story-based stuff~~ (It amuses me muchly that one of the top suggested tags for Nobukatsu is 'Implied Incest' :'DDD)
Nobukatsu's first reaction upon meeting a seemingly genderbent version of his older sister: Oh my god, I need to see his dick IMMEDIATELY.
also it is Very funny that there's someone in the tag acting Very Dubious about Nobukatsu having a legit thing for his sister because 'in that case he'd need serious therapy'
like bud I can't exactly say I'm an expert on the lore here, but isn't this the same guy who concocted a Machiavellian plot to orchestrate his own death for the sake of his sister?!
