What's the point of labeling each other as family if it's not for sex pervert reasons? What is the new kin relationship adding to the equation here that a kith relationship could not? Why is it important for these characters to be family specifically and not something else?
Why must we treat family as the sole source of love and care? Many great things lie beyond family.
