“Roses are Orange...”---An original poem by me, Alisha Barik

“Roses are orange,

Not all violets are blue,

this world wouldn’t be perfect,

if it didn’t have you!

God chose you as his flower,

from his hands you were strown,

in his image you were carved,

through his likeness you were known.

So if anyone tells you,

that you aren’t a rose,

walk away with the knowledge,

that in God’s garden you were grown.”

living life 

filled with fear

i feel them scheming,leering, far and near

everywhere i go

everywhere i was

am and never been

they follow
