Strawberry Moscato Kakigōri (shaved ice): meringue dome, vanilla creme fraiche ice cream, candied pecans; aud18 from Nobu, Crown Perth. Menu on @perthfoodmenu New on Nobu’s dessert menu! The strawberry moscato shaved ice was light and refreshing (though it was not as finely shaved as I would expect Kakigōri to be) and I love the vanilla creme fraiche ice cream. Candied pecans provided that nutty crunch to the dessert. Meringue was good but very sweet (like how meringues normally are) so we didn’t finish all the meringue. Would be good if there was more shaved ice! Yakimono: Lamb Chops with Teriyaki sauce; aud42 from Nobu restaurant, Crown Perth. ‘Yakimono’ is a name given to several Japanese dishes in which pieces of meat are marinated, skewered, and grilled. We ordered the lamb chops to be done ‘medium’ and it was still quite rare and pink in the middle.
