Nochi brings Sifting Thyme to Android & iOS

Indie developer receives an investment from an accelerator and brings their first game to market

Ann Arbor, Michigan -- May 30, 2020 -- Nochi announces the release of the iOS version of its first game title “Sifting Thyme,” available in the app store on June 8th. The indie game developer just received an investment commitment of seed capital from the Desai Accelerator, which invests in early stage tech-enabled startups. While the Android version of the game has been out for over a month now, the studio continues to release monthly game chapters for Android users and will soon be on the same schedule for iOS users.

In “Sifting Thyme,” gamers play as the newest transfer student at Lincoln Culinary Academy, a private culinary school and the place to find one’s culinary calling. Along with four romanceable, gorgeous guys with culinary skills of their own, players will immerse themselves in the vibrant world of food, business, and innovation throughout school adventures.

As one of the five startup companies in the program’s cohort, Nochi is excited to work with the Desai Accelerator in growing their game studio with access to new resources, guidance, and a team of industry mentors. The studio looks forward to being involved with the visual novel gaming community in bringing otome games to local communities in the US.
