Admittedly, he has done so in his younger years. Although he was considered the “proper” one, he did not exactly have time for a committed relationship with his intense studies and serving Noctis.
Being a normal human being with sexual desires, Ignis has engaged in casual sex with those he did not intend to be romantically involved in. After all, his full attention was to be directed to the Prince. Knowing well he had a long journey ahead of him being adviser, he made a point not to get too deep into his emotions.
