In my canon I had a massive crush on Ardyn and I remember showing him my photography the one time we camped together. and we talked a LOT. the guys were obviously apprehensive, and what happened in altissia was heartbreaking but ultimately my loyalties laid with Noct. bro, they shouldve gotten me in therapy and put me on adhd meds. no wonder i had such a hard time doing homework and whatever princely duties i had that involved reading and/or writing! not to mention my depression, but people knew i had that. i never realized i had adhd, or even knew what it was probably, so i had that awful guilt assiosiated w knowing you have to do something, but just. not being able to make yourself do it, for reasons you don't understand.

i think i got a little bit of therapy for my depression, maybe even went on antidepressants, but that really didn't do a thing for my adhd, so i still struggled, and my failure to do things 'normal' people could get themselves to do easily really badly impacted by mental health.

honestly, if you want my opinion, i think it should've been customary to give children of the ruling monarch personal therapists wayy early on. even without depression and adhd, those redposibilities still would've weighed on me really heavily! it's sure as hell not easy to be a prince, especially one next in line to the throne. it feels like it should've been common sense that I'd need long term therapy to be able to properly handle everything. - noct

was reading a fanfiction, as per usual, and this author had ignis think that me playing ninja gaiden or something checked out because i, qoute, "have plebian taste when it comes to entertainment"

ever since i read that ive been in hysterics over the thought of ignis calling me a fucking pleb.

part of the hilarity is that i just. CANNOT imagine ignis actually, honest to god using that word?? even in his thoughts?? so that line hit me out of left field when i read it. i cant get over it.

thinking about being incredibly self indulgent and writing a crossover between ffxv and one of my current hyperfixations.... like i already have so many ideas for it. the overlap between the two fandoms feels like itd be almost non-existent but man... the serotonin id get would be unreal. -noctis
