And yet two figures stood at the corner of an alleyway, the shadows their cover, the silence their background. Blood red eyes glare at the other, a cunning smile on Vala’s face. Three Times a Loss || Geryon/Takuya

A wolfish smile graces Geryon's face, porcelain teeth shimmering against tan skin and pink hued lips. "It was very much intentional, my dear Takuya. Just thought if I said it three times, you would loosen up a little bit. But what loss? I've never truly experienced it. Have you?" He's prodding, trying to figure out the other because at this point they've only been working. The demon isn't used to not knowing anything about anyone he associates himself with. It clouds his head, sends him spinning into the unknown and he absolutely has to know everything. It's the way he's been taught, the way he's been shown how to handle things.

Takuya , my partner in crime. Since the moment we met I knew that we were meant to be in eachother’s lives. We have the same outlook on our careers and let work control our lives. But we don’t let it define us , we let it drive us to work harder and seek justice for those we fight for. I’ve never been good at having friends , or letting people in but Takuya breaks those barriers. He helps me open up and confide in him about anything. I’ve never known what it was like to have a brother. Or a family. Takuya fills those positions without fail. He’s my best friend and my brother ,and the one person in my life I would go to the ends of the world for and fight until my last breath. I love him.

               ——— ●             Dark brows pulled together as if he would actually believe her words ; yet at this point Takuya didn’t know what to think. Realizing his hand was wrapped around her upper arm ; slowly loosening his hold on her before dropping his hand back into the pocket of his trousers. “Are you sure you’re not putting a lie on top of another lie. You’re very sly and make your lies sound believable to most ears. Even for me. ”He told her while pursing his lips ; he gazed at her trying to read her as much as possible. He and Maeko had a history ,  their friendship was one of a kind ( at least this is what Takuya thought ) he was not sure if the demoness felt the same , all demons were different and approached friendship with a grain of salt. “Tell me why should I believe you if for the time we’ve known each other you’ve only fed me lies Maeko”

                               The grip on her arm only reminds her of the thin line they both continued to get closer to. One that neither would cross , yet would come within inches of doing so. She doesn't flinch or pull away , rather she stares at Takuya with a hard gaze. Normally soft features turning grim and questioning as she met the same fate in his. She raises a hand to brush over the flushed skin where his fingers had been moments before , before giving a small shake of her head. ❛ I've changed Takuya , I think your sister would be able to confirm that for you. ❜ Her hand drops to her side before she turns her back to him , wrapping her fingers around the curved iron rail. ❛ I love your sister and I suppose I love you as well. But I haven't always been so calm.. so satisfied with how everything has fallen into place. I left that world behind and i'm here telling you what I know. They are looking for you. And i'm not about to let them find you because you don't believe me. ❜
