Take Care | Fiona and Noelee
I close both locks below the window I close both blinds and turn away Sometimes solutions aren't so simple Sometimes good bye's the only way
Shadow of the Day - Linkin Park
Fiona closed the curtains after ten minutes of watching through the window, her eyes lingering on the dark car that got fatter and fatter with each box. She hurried out of the door, her legs bouncing on the few front steps of the house she’s lived in since she was at Hogwarts. She met eyes with another girl leaning into the trunk of the car. The woman did not have Fiona’s blood in her veins, matching neither genes nor the same mind, but she did ironically share her last name.
Fi walked over to the car and helped the girl situate the last box in the trunk. “So this is it?” she asked.
“Guess so.”
“Can’t believe you moved out before me.”
“Can’t believe you’re still here,” she paused, “Actually I can.”
They shared a smile, the warm summer breeze blowing the short hanging hairs from their faces. Fiona leaned down into the open window of the driver’s seat, her brown eyes resting upon a male whose face was thin and eyes were bright blue. She could smell goodbye in the car freshener. Fiona patted his shoulders and snickered, “Take care of my sister.” She told him. It wasn't her job anymore.
