Namho’s family owned of one of the most prosperous technology developing companies within Seoul; in other words, his life has always been easy ever since the day he was born. But with money came power, and with power came public envy. The boy was always carefree, and evidently spoiled, never anticipating anything wrong to go about his life. Everything was supposed to be worth a lifetime of perfection. A naive expectation from reality. A reality that dealt him a harsh hand.
One evening, when his parents had taken a trip abroad and left the housekeeper in charge of his care, burglars trespassed their manor under the assumption that no one was home. Which should have been fine; the pair had hidden themselves in the panic room and kept a close eye on their activities after notifying the authorities. What no one expected, however, was for his parents to return earlier than scheduled. Long story short, an adolescent Namho was forced to watch his loved ones murdered, and couldn’t even offer a fraction of assistance towards saving their lives.
The event had triggered a more violent side of him. Growing up, his arrogance only worsened and sense of prerogative only got him into tough situations throughout his grade school years. Everything purposely set to give him an excuse to get into physical quarrels. After graduation, he learned to channel his anger through various combat sports, which he was eventually turned away due to his failure to hold back and taking things too far. That was when he discovered his next passion for weapons. Which later led him into building a new occupation outside of maintaining the company his parents built up from the ground.
Under a false name, Duke, with personal connections and an underground reputation, he’s managed to create fame for himself in a new sense, being the go-to guy when you need someone immobilized. And he doesn’t do it for the money, he doesn’t do it for favors. He does it because he loves it.
