Me at the Women’s March in Raleigh! A lot of fun, and certainly won't be the last march I attend.
Woman’s March on Raleigh ft. fog
Today, I marched. I marched because I know and love too many victims of domestic violence. Because I know and love too many survivors of sexual assault. I marched for victims of sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia. I marched for those who have been marginalized for their culture, religion, the color of their skin. I marched for those who can't because they lost their lives to a hate crime. I marched for my rights to accessible reproductive health care and birth control. For equal pay. I marched for a lot of reasons. Ultimately, I marched for justice. For equality. For unity. And even though you may not share my views and you may not like my actions, I marched for you. It's time to use our voices to make this nation OUR nation.
