Before starting this port, let me remind everyone that there are NO POISONOUS SNAKES IN HAITI. Just had to get that out so people will stop killing these creatures for no reason. I've noticing increased activity of snakes this time of year which coincides with everyone's planting season. As thee soil is turned, rats and mice are disturbed out of their homes so these guys come out to keep them in check. Which would you rather have, disease carrying rodents crawling all. Over you and your food, possibly nibbling a bit on both or snakes they eat them and generally stay out of your way?
