“OPHELIA”

Born with an active imagination Natalia Rak knew from childhood that she wanted to paint and find ways of expressing her ideas. She pursued a wide variety of artistic media including drawing, screen-print, graphic design, package design, traditional graphic, painting, and sculpture, and spent several years mastering a new medium—the spray can. Influenced by old photos, comics, book illustrations and illustrators, along with daydreams, her portraits often appear to be drawn from fairytales or imaginary worlds. Rak’s 7-story-tall painting “Ophelia”, on Sparregatan in Borås, Sweden, was the tallest mural done for the No Limit festival in 2014. @nataliarakart @nolimitboras
