Nomadi - Toccami Il Cuore 2011
The Italian band Nomadi have released eighty-two albums, including studio and live recordings and various compilations. Formed on June 13, 1963, they are the second-longest-lived musical group in the world, preceded only by the Rolling Stones, and the first-longest-lived Italian musical group, with over sixty years of activity. Having sold a total of 15 million records, they are the third-best-selling Italian band, preceded by Pooh and Ricchi e Poveri.
Cuore Vivo is their twenty-ninth studio album, released on June 7, 2011. The album is a collection of the band's songs from 1967–1977, reinterpreted in a modern key, with the addition of two previously unreleased tracks. It was the last album released with Danilo Sacco as a member of Nomadi; the singer left the band a few months later, at the end of December 2011. It's worth noting that this album features Sacco's singing the least compared to any of their previous albums.
