I hate non-binary always being grouped with woman and as a "feminine" thing

Sure, some non-binary people are feminine but not all of them are

There are some masculine non-binary people and non-binary people that may prefer to be talked about with more masculine terms (handsome, boyfriend/husband, etc)

I feel like it speaks to a bigger issue with the whole, transmasculine people being invisible and erased in our own community :/

(This is coming from a trans man btw, just annoyed from seeing people say shit like the "woman and non-binary people", trying to group them in with the women and feminity)

None of those things affect the fact that I'm non-binary. I don't have to prove my non-binary being to you.

I don't have to perform in a certain way to be non-binary, nor do I need to look or sound a certain way either.

I am non-binary. I thought long and well about it. I experienced a lot. I lived through that discovery, step by step.

All this work on myself wasn't for me to have to prove something to you.

It was for me to get to know myself.

There is not a good or wrong way to be non-binary, the only way is being yourself.

Petition to never call nonbinary people “kids” unless specifically talking about/to actual nonbinary children or young teenagers. It just adds to the rampant infantilisation of nonbinary people, and blatantly disregards adult nonbinary/genderqueer people.
