I’ve been working as a freelancer for a while now, and tbh there are benefits to it, which is why I continue doing it, but... on the other hand, I also have enough stories to write a book on why it sucks.

It’s fascinating how some people think contracting a freelancer is like buying their own personal little elf that must cater to their every whim, or that it gives them the right to be rude, or to ask for work more than initially agreed/more than they’re paying for.
