more gay old ladies pls
I noticed something earlier this year on a few of the international days for nonbinary people and trans people that didn't quite sit right. As a way of affirming the inherent goodness and worth of gender diverse people, I read quite a few posts along the lines of "nonbinary people are hot".
And sure, I get that for a lot of people being hot feels empowering and affirming, and sometimes gender diverse people are portrayed as unattractive so it's important to claim that. But I didn't feel very seen by these posts.
As an asexual nonbinary person, I don't want to be hot. It's not something I aspire to, and being found sexually attractive by others makes me feel uncomfortable. "Sexy" has never been appealing to me and it's not something I want for my body.
I think this is tied up in common perceptions of queer people as inherently sexualised. Which in turn can lead to a lot of aphobia and is a large part of the reason aces don't always feel welcome in queer community spaces.
Surely we can find ways to affirm the inherent worth, goodness and power of nonbinary, trans and gender diverse people without relying on the tropes of sexual and/or romantic attractiveness. Because TGD aces are here, and we're queer too.
Hey I was wondering if you could make an ace non binary Virgo mood board? Thank you for the wide variety of mood boards out there !!
I know you are deactivate, but I hope someone likes this! Sources under the cut.

Hi, if you're still taking requests (and haven't done one already!), would you do a nonbinary asexual plague doctor? Thank you so much!
Thanks for the suggestion, here you go!
