Daisy Character Sheet

Alrighty, so, out of the main four, Daisy's design is the most different, evidently. I wanted to give them more of an Egypt-centric design, since Birabuto is meant to be based on Egypt. Since Nintendo snubbed us on tanner Daisy, I decided to take the liberty of making Daisy darker myself.

(I completely forgot this point at first, don't mind me-) Like Peach, I also have several ideas for Daisy's VA, but I'm especially partial to Zendaya. My other ideas include Michelle Rodriguez, Rihanna, Beyonce, and Keke Palmer. But if I had to only pick one, it'd definitely be Zendaya.

Since my art style is meant to be slightly more realistic compared to the canon Mario designs, I gave Daisy a more realistic hairstyle, and I landed on giving them curly hair - VERY curly hair. I also gave them an undercut because I thought "Hey, a badass character needs a badass haircut," and this happened! You can't tell it's there when their hair is down, but, I wanted to draw it out anyway so I can have it for reference.

You might notice that Daisy's teeth are a bit sharper compared to everybody else. It's a little complicated, but, I have a HC where Daisy has a long-winded lineage back to Totomesu (who, if you don't know, is a Lion, at least when we see him in Super Mario Land), so they have some of the Sphynx's power, hence the sharper, more lion-like teeth. Daisy absolutely uses this to (gently) bite Mario when he's being a butthead.

Again, to make them a bit different from the others, I gave Daisy green eyes! I feel like it fits their darker skin a bit better, too. I ALSO gave them freckles, which I honestly love for them.
