it’s very disappointing to talk to other cis people in the rpc and read them as being dismissive when the mention of the lack of nonbinary representation / encouragement in their rp is brought up. i know it’s not my place to talk for the nonbinary / trans community- but to my fellow cis followers and mutuals, it is NOT good enough for us to say “oh i don’t know any nonbinary / trans fcs so i didn’t list any”. that’s not good enough. it never was. learn from that and try to be progressive and work past your own erasures and dismissiveness. there is a whole community who are putting THEMSELVES out there to be included and to also educate you on their lives and why their diversity matters. it DOES matter. please, can we just try and be fucking Better.

something that i’ve noticed in regards to mxm (okay nbxm) ships? moment i’m playing a nb character who is masculine aligned in presenting, and is attracted to masculine people, it’s amazing how much people don’t want to do the normal fetishized mxm ship chase with them. like i’ve actually had people who are like ‘oh..... i thought he was yakno, gay’ and i’m like.... one check the pronouns and two...... they are??????? literally so much transphobia it’s wild

so, I don't know who to ask for this, but I was really interested in joining a roleplay until I saw they had a rule that said for every two female muses you have, you MUST bring in a male muse that is a POC. They have said nothing about enby muses, and on top of that they misgendered Amandla Stenberg and Quintessa Swindell in a MWF post...

uhhhh thats a big big BIG NO from me and a huge red flag / just straight up inappropriate ? have you messaged the admins ? always message the admins first and mention this to them , because they could just be extremely privileged and not realise the harm they’re creating to a bunch of communities by doing all of these awful actions ( not that thats an excuse or anything bc now its up to US to educate them on why this isnt ok ) . if the admins aren’t willing to listen or change their behaviour then tbh  . .. send me their url and ill try talk to them even djknjk like honestly though . misgendering is disgusting and the whole ‘ two females should equal one male ‘ is weird and misogynistic and im not too sure if theyre just wording things very wrong or what ??? god i cant BELIEVE we still have to fucking deal with this shit .

If people are saying NB people aren't trans, I wanna know what they think about the ones that wanna physically transition (it doesn't make you more or less valid but that often seems to make it more legit to them), the ones who identify more with the binary gender than isn't their birth assignment (I see masculine dmab NB people and feminine dfab NB people get tons of shit), and all the ones that would normally tick """valid""" boxes for them lmao

I mean , in those cases I can guarantee you that a) they’ll deny that shit happens , or b) they’ll say those NB people are “binary trans people in denial” or whatever

By all means, keep telling the class how everything in the world can be divided into binary categories, and anything in-between is "taboo" and "causes anxiety due to its ambiguity" and "thus is degradeted to dirt or pollution".
