Veiling and modesty are so comfortable to me. It makes me feel a little more human, a little more alive. I feel so grateful that I'm able to veil, that it's part of my life, that I have friends that do, too. It's hard where I am, the father I have. But it's so worth it, in exchange the veil also protects me. It's an irremovable part of my identity, even when I'm not wearing a head covering.
