I have a question for people who go by multiple pronouns, especially he/they or she/they! How did you decide you wanted to go by multiple pronouns? Do they feel different? What do you feel like you get from they/them pronouns that you don't get from he/she, and vice versa? Only if you want to answer, of course! I'm just very curious about your experiences.

Question for nonbinary folk: for some reason my gender and body dysphoria doesn’t affect me nearly as much when I look like my mom??? I have about shoulder length hair and I just put it up and a claw clip like my mom does and it weirdly doesn’t bother me emotionally nearly as much as something like a ponytail where that bothers me a lot, I think it might be because I just. really love my mom so it cancels out gender dysphoria????

Weird question about an idea I had for a Homestuck fanfic that I'm concerned might be vaguely transphobic.

So... the idea was that Davesprite would come out as non-binary (inspired partially by Crow Strider AU), and the reason this wouldn't cause their arc to have to be repeated with Dave is that it would be because of the crow they fused with being female, sort of a Davepetasprite scenario but without that character's inherent hypocrisy.

Are non-binarys allowed to get top/bottom surgery? Like is that just a trans thing or… wait- Do you have to take hormones to get bottom surgery? What defines as necessary? Will I ever learn to spell? Can a vigina be traded for a dick? Am I offending trans people by asking these questions?

I’m thinking of telling my folks my chosen name...but I was wondering how long everyone tried out their name for before telling other people? 

I’ve been using my chosen name for about a year, and I just feel really disconnected from my birth name. But I’m worried I’ll tell people, they’ll get used to it and then I’ll change it again. Which I know isn’t the end of the world, but I really don’t want to go through this anxiety every time.

Also, tips on actually telling my folks would be cool to, but no worries on that. :)

Do enby people change their names too? Like even if they still present as their gender assigned at birth? I’m not asking to be a prick I just genuinely don’t know and would like to be educated.
