i looked in the mirror today, and I mean really looked. My hair is longer than it's been since middle school, it's healthy and it's long. I've always loved my long hair, i love when my hair is short as well but I so very rarely get to see my hair go past my shoulders.

But then I remembered why I don't keep my hair long, I get misgendered more (I've stopped caring but it's noticable), and I get more comments from cis men and it's gotten worse the longer my hair has gotten.

I had to remind myself it isn't safe for me to present femme in any way, and now I'm just debating on whether or not I should chop off my hair again, I love it and I'll miss it, but I don't know if I can do this again.
