ID: Three photos of zine orders before they are packed into their envelopes. The first photo features the largest order which contains Charlie's top surgery zine, testosterone zine, and the following mini zines: fuck ableism, a trans person blank here, they, I think it will hurt, rethinking independence, and what else do you do. This order also contains Charlie's "a trans person peed here" sticker in addition to several freebie stickers. The second photo shows an order containing the lighthouse fan zine. The third photo shows an order containing the cat fart mini zine duo, which consists of "my cat farts all the time" and "our cat doesn't fart". There is also a handwritten thank you note and an envelope in each photo.

The Trans is Creative Zine is a collaboration between Transgender artists and writers to create a space where Trans voices can be heard and celebrated!  Preorders will be up until August 1st! We currently have digital and physical copies for sale. All proceeds go to The Trevor Project! Check it out!

i finished the first draft of my new zine, thank you for telling me: a guide to supporting your nonbinary family member and sent it to a few people for notes. i wanna send it to a couple cis people who have children, and at least one writer friend, but i currently have a mix of nonbinary and cis folks giving me notes. i still have to do art and layout and all that jazz, so it’s still not really close to done, but it feels funny to be finished writing it! i’ve been working on it for a few months(? maybe just one? time?), in its current iteration it is 27 full pages a google doc, which means it’s gonna practically be a book when that’s formatted into half pages. kinda not excited to print it lol, but very eager to get it out into the world.

nonbinary zine is up to 20 pages now, can basically be summed up as follows:

- just put in a little fucking effort to support your kid  - yes effort is actually work, yes you actually have to do it to have a good relationship with your kid - you can’t put the gender cat back in the bag, you can’t protect your kid through repression - what even is gender and why do we cling so desperately to it as evidence that we have something in common when we can just have other stuff in common?? - ok let’s all go to therapy
