May I suggest he/him non binary Zuko pls?

But no fr. With all the upbringing shit, possible toxic masculinity and overall bg, I can totally see him suddenly lose all faith and knowledge of his gender perception once he does for his entire identity? Can he have an existencial crisis pls?

Can he have an awakening thanks to everyone's views and experiences on gender and how to break from traditional roles? Can we have mini stories where they all share their views on their gender, how they experience and feel it, and what they're comfortable as? Can he please be enby buddies with Toph through their oh-so-hyped life changing trip? Can he still have trouble with his identity and thus keep the pronouns the same but later on realize it's just what he is and keeps it for the long run since he's acustumed to keeping a part of his past self within himself whilst moving on and growing?

Also, yes I'm saying this bc I read a fic during BSS where Toph accidentally stumbled onto Lee from the tea shop and helps him realize so-

I was thinking about my favorite thing nonbinary Zuko adopting the term Fireliege y'know Firelord was his grandfather father and briefly his sister and Zuko really doesn't want to be like them at all SOO he goes as Fireliege and sometimes just to piss off bigoted people he uses Firelady and when someone rudely points is a female term and Zuko is a boy he ominously answers am I really a boy and walks away with a very dramatic act of putting out the fire from the lighted up torches in his way

That is amazing. All hail Fire Leige Zuko. Actually, what they do first is they make the torches flare with dragon fire, then immedialy go out as he walks by them. They’re a theatre kid, of course they’re that dramatic.
