Especially in coming across the very topic of pride pins while reading Devon Price's "Unlearning Shame", and of course having seen criticisms left on other posts about my pins and stickers over years, I can't help but reiterate: it's absolutely not necessary to broadcast any of our identities via "merch". But for those of us who still want to, especially where & when community & understanding seems hardest to find, as my own one queer self I'd like to offer my creative forces to help at least avoid the uninspired "rainbow capitalism" biggies, and make these little pieces special, custom, intentional, with some artistry & care. Each of my buttons is made to order, including textures from my paintings and often my own handwriting. Crafting all these buttons for myself & others for years has helped me too in figuring out my own being. So they are here, if that's something you're into. 🫂

We’ve Got You

summary; reader is struggling with learning for their nearing exams. Fear not the Seed fam is there to cheer you up.  pairings; Soft!Jacob Seed x reader ,The Seed family x reader 

A/N Hey, guys. So next week i have my mock exams & Im super freaking stressed so i just had to write some fluff, also i was supposed ro learn for tomorrows chemistry tests, but oh well.... hope you like it, i tried to make the reader gender neutral. :) 

“Why the fuck should i know all this shit.... I’m never gonna pass my stupid exams.” you grit out.

You have been learning math for about three hours now, however you didn’t understand anything. The math book landed in the far corner of your room with a loud thud, you just couldn’t look at it anymore.

Tears were falling down your tired eyes, stomach grumbling and your head started to pound. Sometimes you wonder how others managed to get A’s, B’s or even C’s, it seemed impossible to you. You wanted to have a simple life, like opening a flower shop of library, not becoming a fucking scientist or engineer.

“I fucking hate life, why the fuck am I even on this world. I should be in Middle-Earth, fighting against Orcs with my elf friends, not stuck in a crap place like this.” you exclaimed, dramatically. 

Sitting down on the floor, you wrapped your arms around yourself, trying to forget about the stupid tests. Who even thought about school in Hope County, seeing as the crazy Deputy was running around with a shovel and pointing a gun at everything. You didn't like them very much, they tired to hurt the Seed family, your family.

“Why aren’t you learning, Y/N?” asked Joseph, immediately recognizing his voice. 

When he heard no response, he knelt in front of you, lifting your chin, only to see tear stained cheeks and red eyes looking back at him. He closed his eyes for a moment and sighted.

“What’s troubling you, my dear?”

You sniffled and looked down.

“...It’s just.. I’m too stupid for-” he cut you off.

“Y/N, you’re an amazing young person that will achieve a lot. These tests do not define you, you will succeed many wonderful things in the future, God told me himself. That’s why we found you, you’re special, but you need a little help with choosing the right path.” he finished, wiping the falling tear from your cheek.

“..I.. thank you.” you gave him a small smile, which he returned and kissed you forehead.

“Now, come on. Jacob and John wanted to talk to you.” Joseph helped them up. 

“Yeah, okay. Give me a minute, please? I’ll be in a moment.” you promised, smiling brightly, feeling somehow better just from the mans presence.

You quickly ran to the bathroom, washing your face then teeth. You thought about changing clothes, but you were already comfy in what you were.

Walking out of your room you went down to the living room, where waited the whole Seed family, you waved at them and smiled.

“Hi, Y/N.” cheered Faith, each of them kissing your cheek and hugging you tightly.

“What about a trip to the forest, pup?” asked Jacob, you nodded at the ginger haired softie.

John grinned from ear to ear, lifting you up and spinning in the air, completely taking you by surprise.

You giggled loudly, squirming. “Let me go! Let me go! I’m gonna fall, John!”

“You won’t, I got you.” he laughed, running outside with you still in his arms.

“Jacob, help me! Please!” you shouted, lightly hitting John in a joking manner. 

“Okay, that’s enough, Johnny. My turn.” Jacob grinned, surprising others, not you. He always showed his softer side when he was with you.

John placed you on Jacobs back, giving your head a pat. “Joe, Faith. Are you coming?” you questioned, looking back at them. They smiled and shook their head ‘yes’.

You walked for about twenty minutes, Joseph told you all many different stories, will you still piggyback rode Jake. You laid your head on his back, nuzzling your nose into the back of his head.

“Sorry, pup, but you gotta get off. We’re here.” you pouted, but eventually got off.  

You all stood in front of a beautiful lake, the trees and pink sunset reflected in the water. Faith grabbed your hand, running with you to the water. Both of you were without shoes, so you dipped you foot into the warm water.

Later when it got darker, Jacob made campfire, Joseph took out the sandwiches and snacks, John went for more wood, and you thread your hand through the Judges fur. The wolf ran by earlier, but seeing you it stayed. The overgrown doggos always liked you, Jacob once said ‘they’re going soft on you.” Well he wasn’t wrong, but he still let them be around you.

“Done.” Faith exclaimed, placing a pretty flower crown on your head.

“Thank you, angel.” She sat on a blanket beside Joseph.

When John was back he also sat down, followed by Jacob that sat by the tree’s roots. You stood up and went to him, grinning. He knew what you wanted, so he opened his arms. You embraced him, laying on his chest. Of course the Judge followed you, and nuzzled into your legs. Faith, John and Joseph all looked in awe, seeing their brother so happy and cuddly. 

“I love you all so much, thank you for making this day so much better.”

“Don’t worry, kiddo. We got you. Always will.” John smiled. 

You all talked, laughed, sang, ate and watched the sky full of stars all night. It was the best day ever. You didn’t know what you’d do without your family. You were extremely grateful for them.

A/N: Sorry for the wait, darling! and remember to be careful during snowball fights people, the snow shouldn’t have any stones or ice in them, or else they can do a lot of damage! I hope you like it^^ ENJOY!

Snow had finally fallen in New York, and I couldn’t be happier. I was on my way home from work at the bookstore a few blocks down, when I spotted some very familiar figures hiding behind a bench, chuckling among themselves. 

 Slowly I snuck up on them, their attention obviously elsewhere, but just as I was only a couple of meters away from them, something hit me in my shoulder. Quickly looking down I noticed snow sticking to my jacket. 

 «Ha! I got you.» Yet another one of my friends shouted from another bench not far away. 

 «Snowball fight?» I shouted at them, to which they eagerly nodded. 

 «Well, count me in!» I shouted back at them as I swiftly scooped up a handful of snow, forming it into a ball. 

«You’re on my team, Y/n.» I nodded and jogged over to my team, throwing my bag together with the others. 

 ~ 

We had somehow moved away from the benches and towards one of the buildings during our fight, in which I had gotten some solid hits in if I could say so myself. Not that they hadn’t either. 

 When one of my friends on the other team had hit me in the neck not long ago, some of the snow had slipped down into my jacket, distracting me enough for them to get another hit in.

 I took another pre made snowball into my hands, getting ready to throw it at my friend who was standing by the corner of the building, a snowball in the making in his hands. With as much power I could muster I threw the snowball at him, but just to my luck he saw it coming and ducked, only for my snowball to hit a guy coming around the corner.

 The guy I had hit slowly turned his head to look at me, a murderous look on his face. Slowly he crouched down to the ground, picket up some snow, all the while keeping eye contact with me. 

 My friends around me had gotten awfully silent. Without me noticing it, the guy had made a snowball and before I could react the snowball came hurdling towards with an amazing speed, hitting me in the head. 

Luckily it was a soft one.   

The guy I had hit started laughing, his eyes twinkling in joy. Soon he was playing with us, throwing ball after ball without a miss. We were all having a lot of fun, and the snowball fight which had started out as long distance, turned into close combat.

 We had started with proper snowballs what we now threw was more just whatever snow we got up from the ground in whatever shape we managed to shape it in before we had to throw them. 

 All of a sudden without me managing to react one of my friends collided with the new guy, who had at one point said his name was Alec, and Alec stumbled into me, making me fall to the ground, with him on top of me. Both of us started wide eyed at each other were we lay with our faces inches apart, the «snowball» fight still going on around us. 

 Our noses brushed against each other when Alec moved slightly above me so he wouldn’t crush me below him. 

We both chuckled, both trying to get up at the same time. 

That was until one of my friends yet again managed to bump into a half sitting slash laying on top of me Alec with little balance, making him yet again fall on top of me, only this time it wasn’t just our noses that bumped; it was our lips.

Jacob woke up as always early in the morning, he was already used to it. He turned over, watching you silently. You were so beautiful, he just couldn’t believe how lucky he was to have you. That you picked him out of all men. He loves you dearly, would do anything for you, to keep you by his side.

He placed his big hand on your cheek, his thumb rubbing circles. Placing a kiss on your temple he smiled to himself and got out of bed.

After his morning routine he checked if you were still asleep. A grin suddenly appeared on his face, seeing you in a very strange angle, saliva dripping down your chin on the pillow.

Yeah, he was so lucky to have you, he thought still grinning.

Jacob quietly closed the door, got to his car and sped off to work.

The deputy was causing trouble again, and it got on his nerves. Why couldn’t the deputy understand what they’re doing.

But not deputy ruining his brothers plan scared him, the thought of loosing you scared him the most. What if the deputy got to you? If they even touch you he’s gonna hurt them so much.

Shaking away that thought he parked the car. Two of his soldiers came up to him. They were practically trembling, one glare from Jacob and they’d piss their pants.

“Jacob, sir, the deputy was last seen near John’s region.” the taller one managed to spit. Eyes darting anywhere just to avoid Jacobs intense stare.

“Good. Now get out of my sight.” he growled. Immediately they ran as far away from him.

Jacob isn’t nowhere near stupid, he knows the deputy is behind the gates, waiting for the right moment to pounce.

Dear, naive deputy, I’m going to hurt you so badly.

You woke up in a great mood. In the morning you danced to some music, cleaned the whole damn house & even brushed Merlin, your wolf friend.

After some time you got quite bored so you got ready to prepare dinner. Finally you decided to make spaghetti from your great grandmas recipe. Knowing your lovely boyfriend, he’ll eat anything you offer him.

The door slams closed making you jump, relief washes over you when you see Jacob, but soon you worry seeing him all in blood. You hope it’s not his.

“Jesus, Jake. What happened?” you ask, walking up to him. He doesn’t say anything just watches your every move.

You grab his hand and lead him to the bathroom. You turned the water then put your whole attention on the soldier. He lets you take his clothes off when you silently ask for his permission.

“Go under the shower. I’ll join you.” he does as you say.

You undressed quickly. You took a sponge and soap, you rubbed his back, shoulders & washed his hair. You remember the first time you washed him, he was so tense and tried to keep his cool for your sake. Now he felt completely comfortable with you, even if you do something wrong he won’t clench his fists only chuckle at your clumsiness. Gosh, you loved that huge dork.

The water was turned off, you dried Jacob and yourself. However he put on his underwear himself. Again taking his big hand in your small one you take him to your shared bedroom.

“C’mon, Jake. Get under the covers.” you laughed when he still stood waiting for your next command.

You two lied down, Jacob nuzzled into your neck, inhaling your scent. His arms were around you, protecting you from all the monsters in the dark.

One hand was tangled in his hair, massaging his head, the other rubbing circles on his back. Today was a bad day for Jake, you guessed. Probably the deputy’s fault.

“Sing to me.” he whispered, placing kisses on your neck.

“You are my sunshine, my only sunshine

You make me happy when skies are grey

You never know, dear, how much I love you

Please don't take my sunshine away

The other night, dear, as I lay sleeping

I dreamt I held you in my arms

When I awoke, dear, I was mistaken

Soft snores came from Jacob, you smiled at him and kissed his forehead whispering, “I love you, my darling.”
