Not a headcanon but more of a set of questions! I’ve recently been cast as Rumpleteazer in a production of Cats and I was wondering what advice you’d give me with regards to what her relationships are with the other cats? I can’t decide whether Mungojerrie is her sibling or her mate and if he was her sibling who else do you think she would mate with? Do you think she would spend all her time with Mungo or be friends with the other cats too? And is she an adult or just one of the older kittens? I’m so sorry to ask so many questions but this is actually really important to me :’)

Hmm, well, the relationships in show are completely up to you, your other cast members and your director. My advice would be to experiment with things, find out what works for you and every one else. Talk about it with your cast mates, have a big old conversation and throw ideas around. Keep it lose and open to change, don’t force anything and these sorts of things will develop.
If you want my personal opinion on the matter, I see Mungo and Rumpel as fraternal twins, with Mungo being the classic “well I’m the oldest by like three minutes so I’m in charge” type. I dig the idea of Skimble and Jenny being kind of parent figures for the rapscallions (though I haven’t decided what I like for biological parents).
I figure that she’s a young adult (late teens or early twenties in human years) but hangs around with the kittens more because they’re more fun to be around. And I do see her spending a lot of time with her brother, as they manage the best mischief together. (whether or not she knows about the Macavity business is another matter)
I don’t really see her as mating with anyone, as she seems more the type to be into other things rather than settling down.
