What if we told you that black children in Kent County make up 10% of the population but represent 35% of the kids in foster care? Would you believe me? Another 18% are multicultural children? What do you think about that? That means 53% of the kids in care are likely to have #curlyhair. @beautyoftziyon4ever and I don't know why this is happening, but we want to give those kids, and any other other kid in care, a little bit of hope. #naturalhairfoster will do that by providing 250 #curlykidscare packs. The packs will be filled with styling tools, hair & skin products and a bonnet or wave cap. If the kids look and feel good, they'll cope with their situation better. Thankful-LEE I appreciate everyday. Life ain't always grand but I live for those days that are.
