[Adult/Next Gen AU; The Confrontation with Nonna]
(Trevor, Shiny and Thurston all manage to track Nonna down at one of the neighbourhoods in town)
Trevor: Remember, our main goal is getting information about what she talked to Ansisa about.
Thurston: Probably her usual crap.
Shiny: Or worse.
Trevor: We mustn’t let our emotions control us. As much as she is a professional pain in the ass, we can’t let her words influence our actions
Shiny: Okay
Thurston: No promises, Dad
(They approach her)
Trevor: Nora, there you are, we’ve been looking for you
Nonna: Trevor. Afternoon, how may I help you?
Trevor: Ansisa is missing and I heard that you were the last person to see her, what were you two talking about?
Nonna: *defensive* I simply told her the truth!
Thurston: Ha! Your definition of truth is vastly different than most people’s definition of truth, so what did you tell her? Come on, you can cough it up!
Nonna: *annoyed at Thurston* I told her that she is the reason for that petty drama that happened years ago! Sonny’s hospitalization, her mother’s near death experience! Her father’s scar! Everything that mattered!!
Shiny: The drama that happened all those years ago was because us who were involved had a massive overreaction on our end!! No one else’s!
Nonna: What about your jealousy?! Your inability to bear children-
Shiny: -It was a simple poor choice of judgment. Everyone has done it at least once in their lifetimes! And before you finish, Annie didn’t ‘throw it in my face’! It was an issue at the time because I made it an issue!
Trevor: And no child is to blame for egg binding!! That’s just pure bad luck! Shame on you for blaming an innocent child for things she had no control over, especially to blame her for things that happened before she even hatched?!
Thurston: As for my husband’s mental breakdown, it was caused by many factors, but not a single one was caused by Ansisa!
Nonna: Many can argue on whether or not she really is to blame for all that… but there is one thing that we all know that no one can deny she’s at fault for!
Shiny: You didn’t!
Nonna: She’s definitely at fault for what happened to Thurston! No amount of arguing can change the fact that she climbed up high and was the reason he had to go after her, fell and had to get surgery for his hip to fix the damage, and yet he’s still physically incapable of doing much of what he used to, and to end up on all that medication! That monster-
Shiny: -YOU’RE THE MONSTER!! YOU HAD NO RIGHT TO INFLICT SUCH CRUELTY!!
Thurston: And to decide you can dictate who’s to blame for what misfortunes and mistakes?! It’s vile! Disgusting! Shameful!!
Nonna: Why are you- out of everyone defending that monster?! You will never run again! You’re chances of retiring early have skyrocketed thanks to that little creatu-
(Thurston swings his cane at Nonna, which she barely dodged, she began to fly up into the air)
Thurston: You have no right to decide who’s to blame for others’ misfortunes on their behalf!!
Nonna: You’re just blind to the tru-
(Thurston throws his cane at Nonna, but she barely dodges it and flies away)
Shiny: *starts going after her* I won’t let you get away!
Trevor: Let her go, Shiny!!
Shiny: *stops in her tracks and looks at Trevor* But she can’t get away with it! Not this time!!!
Trevor: She won’t! Tabs will take care of her, later. Right now, we need to relay what we got to everyone else, before we lose any more time
Shiny: *flies to Thurston’s cane and picks it up and hands it to him* Here, nice aim might I add.
Thurston: *looks exhausted* Thank you, but I got so angry that I didn’t think… she’s now gone…
Trevor: It’s fine. We got what we wanted. Now, if she’s smart, she’ll take it as a warning of what’s to come
Shiny: If she was smart, she wouldn’t have done this! Or even a third of what she’s done!
Thurston: *nods* …
Trevor: You do have a point.
Shiny: Grandpa Trevor, what do you mean that Grandma Tabitha will take care of her?
Trevor: She has decades of personal scores to settle with Nora, it’s best to let her dish out the vengeance this time.
