[About a week before Lily turned 18...]

Lorraine: Lily, I need to get Jurassic Ginko leaves, come on.

Lily: [looks up from her collection, nods and starts following Lorraine to the train station]

Lily: Mom, I'll be safe at home, you don't have to-

Lorraine: I don't trust them. We're going together.

[They draw closer and closer to the train station. Lily doesn't understand why, but she has a bad feeling...]

Lily: ... Mom?

Lorraine: Yes, love?

Lily: What are we getting Jurassic Ginko leaves for?

Lorraine: Your birthday is in a week! So I want to make you a delicacy of a birthday meal!

Lily: You always made my meals with fruits and leaves from around here though. I'm not complaining! You make the best food, but...

Lorraine: Can't I do something special for you for your eighteenth birthday?

[The pause at the station, waiting for a train to pull up. Lily nervously fiddles around as Lorraine paces back and forth.]

Lily: ... Mom? You look nervous.

Lorraine: Me? Oh no! I'm fine, I just... planning has been...

Lily: You don't have to do something big for me, mom. I'm okay with something smaller, don't stress yourself.

Lorraine: But... I love you, Lily. And I want to do something that'll make you know how much I love you.

Lily, mustering courage: Then... can I make a req-

[A train whistle goes off. The Dinosaur Train rolls into the station.]

Tabitha: All aboard! Hello, Mrs. Lorraine. Hello, Lily! You're still cute as a button, I see-

Lorraine: Let's go, Lily. [Boards the train without even greeting Tabitha]

Tabitha: Well... um... Okay.

Lily: [smiles apologetically at Tabitha as she boards the train]

Tabitha: All aboard! Hang onto your hats! Gangway! [Closes the door]

[The train starts moving.]

Tabitha: Tickets! Tickets please!

Lorraine: [hands Tabitha the tickets]

Tabitha: Ooooh! What's the occasion to go all the way to-

Lorraine: -Birthday preparations. My special girl deserves the best birthday possible!

Tabitha, who's in on Lily and Don's escape plans but not at all spilling in: I'm sure it'll be a birthday to remember! Lily here is such a sweet young lass.

Lily: [smiles shyly] Tha-thank you, Mrs. Conductor!

[The train continues down the tracks, entering a time tunnel...]

[Later...]

Tabitha: Next stop, Laramidia City Station! Next stop, Laramidia! The Dinosaur Big City!

Lorraine: Lily. I just need to relieve myself in the station bathrooms. You're coming with me.

Lily: Oh. Okay.

[They both leave and approach the train station. Strangely, Lorraine slips behind the building, to the side that faces some dense trees and rocks that leads deeper into the city...]

Lily: You don't like the restrooms either?

Lorraine: Lily, come with me.

Lily, immediately alert: Wh-huh?

Lorraine: You. My daughter. Come with me. We're heading into the city.

Lily: Mom... I'm confused. You said we were having a bathroom break, and now we're going into the city? What about the leaves-

Lorraine: I'll get you the leaves. I'll get you anything you want! I'll give you everything your heart desires! But come with me!

Lily: M-mom, you're scaring me-

Lorraine: Ginko!

[When Lorraine issues the code word, a sauropod emerges from the trees and stands right over Lily. The tail whip is poised as a means of enforcing obedience, and Lily is between four powerful legs.]

Lily, tearing up: Mom! What's going on!?

Lorraine: Don't you speak to me like that! You're coming with me! Without the T-Rex maintaining territory, Pteranodon Terrace isn't our safest option anymore! And do you think I'm blind? I know you're planning on running away with our enemies the moment you're eighteen! I'm not letting that happen! I won't let them hurt you, anyone hurt you! I'll protect you! Your father's death won't be in vein! We're going far away, just the two of us, safe as a family, forever and ever!

Lily: No-

Sauropod, rumbling threateningly: She paid us handsomely for this already. You'd better be a cooperative escort...

Lily: [winces, looking away from the thug and lowering her head in defeat] ... I'll come with you.

Lorraine: Like I said, Lily, I love you. I'd do anything to keep you safe. Come with me.

[The three start to go deeper into the city. Lily looks behind at the station once before disappearing from sight.]

(Sarah is looking at old photos from a photo album)

Sarah: Wow… what happened to you? You used to be so thin, feminine and beautiful and now you look like one of the men who works in construction

Trevor: Hey! You don’t talk like that to others

Tabitha: I’ll answer that question when you tell me where you got that very nasty and very bitchy attitude and tone from!

[During Tiny's sentence. At Troodon Town Station, the train is about to head out.] Tiny: [cleaning some crumbs left behind in a seat] Fuck you, Larry... Tiny: [pulls herself out from under the seat, feeling a bit disoriented as she stands in the middle of the isle for a moment] Pierce Pteranodon, stalking towards her: Out of the way! Slave! Pierce: [shoves her against the side of a seat] Tiny: Ah! [drops her cleaning supplies] Pierce? Pierce: [pauses for a moment, turning away] Just stay out of the way. [Pierce turns to walk away. Tiny exhales, holding her chest as she starts to relax-then Pierce turns and grabs her throat.] Pierce: Sike! Tiny: Pierce! We're family! Pierce: Please! We have so many fucking cousins, we don't know all their names! I don't know all my aunt and uncles' names! And besides, we hated each other from the very beginning. [Rams her against the seat side again] Tiny, grunting as she keeps herself from grabbing his hand to loosen his grip: Don't! I'm still healing from- Pierce: -Shut up, slave! I can do whatever I want to you and they won't press charges! Chance of a lifetime! [kicks her side] [A crowd has well formed around them, watching. Some are horrified and disgusted, others find this amusing, but no one is stepping in...] Pierce: [punches Tiny as he holds her against the seat side, delivering more kicks and punches] Tiny, tearing up: Pier-[chokes as her legs fail her, but Pierce keeps her upright] Pierce, pulling his fist back again, squawking in rage: I still haven't forgiven you four! [Pierce punches her hard, she finally falls to the ground.] Tiny: Mr. Co- Pierce: [kicks her face, cutting her off from speaking] Shut it! You disgrace, you're branded and wearing an anklet for a reason. I feel no sympathy for the likes of you! [Pierce continues kicking Tiny as she curls up in the fetal position. But eventually, the door is kicked open as someone finally intervenes...] Tabitha: What is going on! [shoving dinosaurs out of the way to get in] Pierce, shoving his foot into the side of Tiny's head, staring up at Tabitha with visible defiance: I have no reason to fear the legal system for this. Why are you acting like it's such a big deal? Tiny: [coughs up blood, still not fighting back] Tabitha: I happen to know that while you legally are free to even murder slaves, Ethan Pteranodon does not tolerate when you act up. Your uncle will punish you harshly. And even more, your Grandmum would punish you The Wild Way. Are you sure you want to risk their wrath for wounding or killing flesh and blood? Pierce: ... [groans, rolling his eyes] Fine. [Pierce takes his foot off Tiny, still glaring at Tabitha.] Tabitha, struggling with her own rage on Tiny's behalf: Run back home then, before they find out what you did. Then again, news might spread. Pierce: I don't care! [stares down at Tiny] I just want them to pay! [Pierce spits into Tiny's eye before stalking out of the coach.] Tiny: [curled up in the fetal position, eyes closed] Tabitha: [staring around at the crownd] Scram! Shoo! Nothing to see here! Leave the poor child alone! Git! [The crowd starts to disperse as Tabitha kneels down and checks Tiny's condition.] Tiny, in tears as she rubs blood from her beak: I don't think I can go another day, Mrs. Conductor... It's too much... Tabitha: You can and you will. Come now, I'm getting you to Dr. Brendan before Sonny Boy finds out and flips his shit. [Scoops Tiny up] Damn, you are small. Tiny: No shit. It's in my-[coughs up blood again] Tabitha: Not good! TO THE INFIRMARY!!! [Runs out of the coach with Tiny in her arms like a beebee]
