I could see Kristen in a few different clubs as well, like maybe a traveling culture club and a queer club that they started. Personally, although I know most people disagree, I can’t see them starting a religious club or joining one cause of past religious tension of religion being such a group event but I’m just rambling. I think Kristen would love philosophy

Fig 100% is in more clubs than in courses. She’s starting parties and joining the other Bad Kid’s classes to learn tidbits (reallllly helps for the ones that learn better by teaching or doing on hand stuff). She would hate being taught music because she just feels it (much to Sandra Lynn’s dismay if she’s paying for college). If anything, I could see her somehow getting a bunch of different minors in various courses cause she just.. took them online in like a month or so.

Never heard of the idea of Fabian with anything medical but ooo I do love that. I’m not versed enough in medical branches to pick one out but it would be ironic if he picked optometry. Could see him doing nursing though. I’d be hilarious seeing him with the ‘this is me before my 12 hour shift!’ And cut to him disheveled with ‘this is me after my 12 hour shift’ Definitely the minor in theatre, he runs the theatre club like it’s the navy. Could also see him doing dance and going to a lot of competitions. I’d honestly considered him also pulling a Fig and just not settling on anything but instead of clubs he does internships.

First I’ve heard of disaster management as a course but I can definitely see it for Gorgug. He’d probably go into something like Civil engineering cause it focuses a lot on helping the public (similar to disaster management). Because of how much of an overworker he is in JY, lots speculate that he’d do a dual/triple major in college (although it’s in dnd class terms) so maybe he does Engineering and I could see him taking something like a Botany class or similar. I could see him in a welding internship, or at an auto repair shop to learn some skills for tinkering on vehicles as well.

Definitely agree with Adaine. I could also see her doing something like a Biomedical course or also joining a Botany course/club. Personally I think she somehow shares the most classes with everyone. Oh and also I think she’d also minor in forensics alongside Riz. Maybe she’s doing an internship, maybe it’s just a typical job. Can’t really decide, but I think she’d also write a book. It’d either be about how she managed the fear of losing her friends as an elf, how to handle anxiety as an adventurer (co-authored by Jawbone), or she’d write a story that’s basically a warped version of the Bad Kids’ adventures.

With Riz, I think he’d also dual major (in English and Forensic Science) because he’s also an overworker and it looks great on resumes. That goblin is in every club he likes, constantly studying, multiple internships, and so on. Kinda absurd how he still gets time to hang out with the others (it’s forced by them).

I could possibly see Kristen or Fig dropping out at some point (any of the others may as well but I feel like Kristen would get overwhelmed and Fig just doesn’t care) but yeah! I love this so much, never heard anyone bring up them in actual college courses. Thanks for the ask!! Sorry bout the long ramble lol

I could imagine Fabian talking to Telemaine about it one time and Telemaine is extremely pushy for Fabian to take action cause his understanding of time is shit. i enjoy aro and ace spec adaine but i like other hcs for her too she has nothing specifically set in my brain for her

I think the most interesting one I’ve seen so far is ‘Nerd Squad’, aka: QPR Riz and Adaine! I think it works really well because both of them are so similar and relate to each other in so many ways that’s it’s just comforting to find each other and know that there’s no expectation of romance between each other.

I REALLY love the poly ship of Riz, Adaine, and Fabian. Maybe one of my favorites by far. It’s Adaine and her two losers who will do anything besides admit they care for each other. It’s Riz and these two posh elves that spoil him to the ends of the world. It’s Fabian and the two nerds that he will aggressively defend to the end of his life, despite the fact that they will end up ripping someone apart on his behalf.

Adaine marrying them so Fallinel stops sending suitors in attempts that she returns. Riz marrying them for tax benefits. Fabian marrying them to brag about those he loves. The three of them all having some insanely engraved rings and gold jewelry Fabian splurged on them for.. Adaine making them some spells that they can use… Riz putting down work more than usual for them.. god I love it.

I definitely enjoy aro+acespec Adaine as well (I also hc she has a preference for fem/nb people. And that she uses she/he and prefers masc terms like boyfriend and handsome)

I WILL SAY, strong contenders so far are Fig/Adaine (Aberfaeth has a ton of really cute fanart.. and dullgecko once brought up the idea of Adaine owning Aguefort and Fig just trailing after her partner as she works and I can’t get that out of my head) AND FIGAYDAINE AS WELL DONT FORGET AYDA I LOVE HER IN IT TOO

bad kids different breakfasts (or lack thereof *glances at riz*)!!!

Bad Kids Headcanons: Breakfast

Riz - Pretty obvious, but his breakfast consists of coffee and nothing else. Sklonda gave up on trying to offer him toast or atleast a fruit in the morning after he called out that she drinks exclusively coffee as well. The Bad Kids can’t break this habit either, BUT he really enjoys breakfast foods at other times [like brunch or breakfast for dinner]. It’s a nostalgic reminder of his childhood (where a box of pancake mix lasts a few days of dinner if you portion it right) and his favorite is definitely pancakes loaded with syrup. Sklonda never let him have syrup and chocolate chips together (Pok did, don’t tell her) but the Bad Kids go all in on everything so it’s not surprising that he gorges on toppings when they head to a diner every so often for dinner.

Fabian - Also pretty obvious (and canon) but Fabian always has an extravagant breakfast with plenty of different options. Cathilda usually makes it for him so he’s definitely spoiled with the amount. He’ll have a carb (usually some kind of Belgian waffle or fluffy pancake), lots of fruits, a juice to match, and protein like bacon or nuts beside it. I think Fabian enjoys fruit flavored stuff the most and in days where he’s in a rush, often grabs a pre-made parfait from the fridge with mangoes and similar fruit (Fabian is a mango fiend in my heart) and eats it on the go. He can’t go without breakfast or else he will end up stabbing someone on purpose before lunchtime.

Kristen - Her parents always made large amounts of food for breakfast (with a family of 6 you kinda have to) but I think she doesn’t eat breakfast foods because they’re either too sweet (bringing back the ‘Kristen doesn’t like icing’ hc and doubling down that she’s just not a huge sweet tooth person) or they’re way too dense. The Applebees definitely make casseroles or pancake sheets that are easy to plate and serve. Most days Kristen will make some breakfast for herself (often sausages and a pancake or two) before leaving the house asap. Once she begins living at Mordred though, which also serves a large breakfast but with a lot more variety than pan based dishes, she usually sits and eats more because there isn’t the push to leave the house (and she likely burned a bunch of calories with Tracker if you know what I mean) so she begins eating a bit more breakfast than before. I think because it’s not that sweet, she actually enjoys biscuits and gravy the most and it’s the most common thing she’ll ask for. Breakfast isn’t special but she prefers to eat the breakfast foods at breakfast.

Adaine - Breakfast was usually the worst time of the day for her because it was mandatory time spent with family (kinda canon given the first episodes intro scene with her). Her house usually just served breakfast in the form of cereal or fruit that didn’t fill you up much. Adaine spent most days stealing a protein bar or two, that didn’t have any of her allergens in it, and eating that after stirring her cereal for the 6 mins she had to be at the table. Now at Mordred.. you’d think she just ran a 5k. Downing a few plates worth of pancakes loaded with toppings, some bacon and sausage and other breakfast meats, and a glass of milk before leaving. I think she really enjoys breakfast and loves sweet breakfast a lot cause she never got to enjoy it. Don’t leave her with cinnamon rolls, the whole tray will be gone and she will admit it was her. [The anniversary of her adoption by Sandra Lynn/Jawbone she got spiced cinnamon rolls and she ate so many that they were worried she would vomit]. Adaine won’t leave the house without atleast something to hold her over cause the snacks at school aren’t safe to eat (Fabian brings her food from Cathilda quite often, just as snacks, because he and Cathilda know that Adaine can’t snack on school snacks from allergens).

Gorgug - The Thistlespring’s treat breakfast like an event, as it’s usually the biggest meal that holds everyone off for the majority of the day and any other hunger is filled with snacking. There’s always a ton of eggs and mostly side dishes like hash browns or fried apples, because they don’t eat meat, some tea, and a side of toaster cooked waffles cause Gorgug is always on the go. He usually packs up some sides, grabs two waffles, and makes a smoothie. I think he could go without breakfast if he truly wanted to, it’s not a big thing for him like it is for Wilma and Digby, but he still enjoys fixing his breakfast for later while they eat and chat. Gorgug doesn’t like tea though. Or coffee.

Fig - Ever seen those teen coming of age movies where the teen rushes downstairs, grabs a single slice of toast from a table absolutely loaded with food, and bounds out the door? That’s Fig. Sandra Lynn absolutely despises it because she really worries that Fig is gonna be starving until lunch (she’s not. Gorgug never finishes his drink and Fig is the one to finish it off. It’s routine now, and cause it’s such a nutrient/protein heavy smoothie Fig is full until lunch). I think Fig does enjoy breakfast foods but there’s always too many options and too many types. If she had to pick, she’d go for chicken and waffles.. or if it’s solely breakfast foods she’d pick French toast. I think she really enjoys eggs though and more often than not, brings a bunch of hardboiled eggs to school to eat (she brings a few for Riz too cause he’s also an egg fiend. It’s just nature for species that have sharp fanged teeth I guess)

If they all lived together, I think Gorgug and Adaine would be making the breakfast to cover all the grounds. Most of it would be small to-go portions that can be saved for another day if necessary because they’re always on some kind of adventure and there’s not much time to sit down and eat. It’s also a lot easier to bring the portions to store in the Hangvan for long trips. Lots of fruits, mostly carbs for recovering carbs lost in battle, and eggs.
