Okay so a lot more people saw and liked my last headcannon post than I expected, so I’m gonna make this a tag where people can talk about this stuff

Yautja headcannon #2: they knead like cats when they’re happy and comfy

Yautja women are probably working out daily to maintain muscle mass through pregnancy and postpartum, and it’s well documented that it can effect milk supply (I know it’s dumb that a reptilian species feeds their young milk, but all the cannon depictions of female Yautja have breasts, so I’m just going with it). The mother can help mitigate that by eating a high-fat diet, but it doesn’t fix everything. So baby Yautja may knead on mom to help stimulate milk flow the same way kittens do to their mothers. And after they grow up, it’s habit to just do it whenever they’re feeling particularly safe and comfortable :)
