His green eyes found her starlit hues in an instant. There was never any hesitation to that question even if she wanted to keep asking for validation. The thought of being without her was deafening, paralyzing almost. Isobel had been his rock for as long as he could remember even if she did go off to some boarding school. There was never a time that when he needed her most that she didn’t show up miraculously. If Jake had time to think clearly he might have wondered how that happened, but he didn’t care honestly.

It would have been nice to believe that someone could protect him from everything. A deep sigh was let go in a long breath as he continued to watch the ants scamper around wildly in the dirt. Running away had always been at the forefront of his mind and even attempted once, which only left him in the hospital with a lame excuse spewed to the doctors. Isobel was his best friend and as much as he wanted to believe her there was nothing she could do. 

“How are you going to stop it, Isobel? There is no point in living in a fantasy world. We we can’t make it stop.” Jacoby stood up and wiped off his pants. “You know i care about you and I am so thankful to have you in my life. That you care, but you can’t fix this.”

Thank you everybody for being patient while I am in this funk. Today is a very significant day and after the memorial it will all be easier to focus and be productive. I'm gratful to have such wonderful rp partners. Love you all!

Just when I thought that every Head Boy since Bill Weasley had been a bit too straight laced I hear reports that current Hogwarts Head Boy, Anthony Goldstein might be using his quarters for more then copious amounts of studying. It seems that fellow Ravenclaw Isobel MacDougal has been spending a great deal of time with Goldstein behind the dark wooden doors. MacDougal has also been seen sporting looser garments as of late. Does she merely enjoy the Bohemian muggle style or is she trying to hide a surprise that no amount of reading could prepare her and the father-to-be for?
