whats your absolute favorite synth, if not the volca!?
this is a tough question since there’s so many synths i love but i’ve hardly gotten to play with any of them!
of the synths i actually have irl experience with, my favorite is, of course *drumroll* the Yamaha SHS-10 keytar! it’s so much fun and it has some surprisingly versatile built-in functionality when you know what you’re doing. the included voices are even pretty neat (with the exception of the useless brass section).
as far as the synths i do not have, i think the #1 one i want is the microKORG, but that’s mainly because of how much i want a vocoder!! :|
other than that, though, i’m really pumped about the volcas. they have a lot of analog functionality, as well as sequencers and you can use MIDI controllers with them. plus they’re pretty dang affordable. they are gonna be a great asset when we get a live setup together!
