What’s the most dangerous creature that Uriah has come across? Or not exactly dangerous but powerful?
Uriah: “Dangerous? The Blackscale nagas. They’re a very aggressive and venomous clan of nagas that worship the war and chaos deities, primarily. Very hungry for power and territory and don’t care who they have to kill to get it. Orpheus’s family has had a few encounters. They’re more reptilian than other nagas, and I’ve been told that their ideal of pure bloodlines has given them inherent insanity—hence the continued violence. I came way too close to them once and that was more than enough. As for the most powerful? I-I think Cairn threw me for a loop. I’ve met a lot of strong beings since meeting Orpheus, but his presence alone is intimidating. I can tell he’s capable of a lot, as far as magic is concerned, but I don’t know how, and uh…I-I’m mildly concerned that I’ve apparently amused him. Something tells me that’s not a good sign.” -sweats nervously-
(Tagging @scales-and-spirals for a Cairn mention lol)

Orpheus, have you ever done any “holidays” or special events when there was a lunar eclipse or solar eclipse or on a solstice?
Orpheus: “Oh, yes, celestial events are big occasions for most of the pantheon, because they can affect so many powers and parts of the world! Many times the celebrations involve feasts held within the elemental capital, where the council that rules the pantheon reside. During times of war, these events have also led to temporary truces, as the impact of heavenly bodies on magic affected all parties. Nowadays, unfortunately, much of that honor system has been lost outside of the pantheon, but those within who break them are punished severely. Getting back to the idea of holidays, though, lunar and solar eclipses, especially, often lead to a great number of offerings made to both my family and the family of the solar deities. Solstices and equinoxes tend to involve harvests and feasts, primarily, but these can also be seen as fortuitous times for marriages, childbirth, and major milestones in one’s life should they fall on the same day. I, for example, had my first shed during an eclipse; it was seen as a good omen, the new scales symbolizing the returned light of the moon after.” -beams proudly-
Random question: if a naga reaches their 100s it’s the equivalent of a human reaching their 20s, so does that mean if a naga reaches their 1,000s is it like humans reaching their 30? Or is it more complex than that?
Atheer: “The lifespan of a naga is strange compared to the short and fleeting lives of mortals. Orpheus was born when Eden and I were in our mid-two-hundreds. Adolescence usually spans from a naga’s first decade until they reach their first century. They remain in their prime for several centuries, health and resources taken into consideration, and begin to wane once they come closer towards one thousand years of age. Not many live long after. Some surrender their souls to the cosmos, others find ways to bind themselves to the mortal plane, as my mother had. We are not truly immortal, as nothing can live forever; we merely last longer than other beings, and return to the earth when our time comes.”
