couLD WE MAYBE DO A THREAD WHERE ROOKS IS AN S-IV FRESHLY AUGMENTED AND ARTEMIS/SIX HELPS HIM OUT??

   Problem with that, is that my Rooks rejects the offer to receive augmentations. Largely because he wants to return to having a fairly normal life, maybe go back to being a cop once he feels most of the post-human-covenant-war issues are taken care of (more or less) and the fate of the universe is a little less dire. He’s a great soldier, but he doesn’t want to continue fighting in wars forever. Receiving augmentations would only make him feel obligated to stay and he doesn’t want to end up even more of a pawn for the UNSC to use.

   He has funny feelings about the augmentation process anyways, having heard some whispers that the only way for IV’s to come about was through some horrible experimenting on kids (coughs the II’s and the III’s)... so yeah, he doesn’t want to get involved with that. I mean, it’s a cool idea, but Rooks here just. Kind of refuses that. Which is also why I don’t have a verse for it despite it being both enticing and expansive on what can be done.
