“Angel, I think we’re idiots,” Crowley murmured into her hair, squeezing her tight.
“You’re probably right,” Aziraphale agreed, nuzzling the side of Crowley’s face. “But what is it this time?”

Angsty/soft Hastur fics 💖? ~anon
Here’s some Hastur fics I found on AO3!
If you can’t do good, better do bad well by Lookatallmyships (T)
What if there was a way to bring a demon back- even one who was killed by holy water?
The Angel and the Frog by gypsyweaver (M)
Hastur and Ligur are (finally) going to be reunited. Beelzebub recorporates Ligur, and remembers Hastur's depressing time alone and the succor that Hell tried to give him. Hastur's existence without Ligur has become hollow, but Ligur fears that his husband won't want him back as an angel.
this is not a love story (but love is in it) by taizi (T)
“Crowley is no longer affiliated with you.” The angel manages to sound indignant, of all things. “I—that is, he even got it in writing. Signed by three of Hell’s kings. It’s all very official.”
“Well, we’re not here in any official capacity,” Hastur says. “It’s more of a personal visit. Friendly chat, that sort of thing.”
If he was indignant before, Aziraphale is outright angry now. “You’re not his friends. You hurt him.”
“Of course we did,” Ligur says, as if the angel is particularly slow. And he might well be, if he needs this much spelled out. “We’re demons.”
“You tortured him,” Aziraphale presses, unrelenting.
“It’s Hell,” Hastur says impatiently. “It’s ninety-nine-percent torture on a slow day.”
A Funny Old World by noodlefrog (T)
Hastur liked fire. It had a certain look about it that he liked to watch, the color and the movement and the coiling of the smoke. If he was feeling sentimental, which was rare, he'd call it beautiful. Most of the time, he called it fun. Destructive. Exciting. Funny, sometimes, especially when humans were around to see something of theirs burning and did all that business of running around yelling about it.
He liked Ligur, as much as he could like any fellow demon. Ligur was competent at the temptations he performed and had a similar kind of eye for the artistry of a long con that Hastur could appreciate. He was... cunning. Ruthless. Vicious. A right proper menace. Excellent lurker. Knew how to bide his time and plot and scheme with the best of them. He could respect Ligur for what he was: an evil bastard who he didn't hate being around. When he was feeling sentimental, which was rare, he would think of him as beautiful, too. *screechy, off-key rendition of "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)" played on a kazoo* Hastur has a crush on Ligur, and it's mutual. I'm taking this crack seriously. You've been warned.
If our followers know any fics involving Hastur, please leave them in the notes!

I would definitely read Hot Days, Mad Blood by noodlefrog. It's the first in a phenomenal series but can be read standalone. The characters are spot-on and just so very good. So very them all the way through
Oooh, thanks for the recommendation I’ll check it out!
(Oh no, I’m up to 39 open tabs with fics to read lol! 🤔)
