Oven Baked Popcorn Chicken is a healthier alternative to fried chicken. These bite-sized pieces are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, perfect for a snack or a meal. Plus, baking them in the oven reduces the amount of oil used, making them a guilt-free indulgence.
Ingredients: 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces. 1 cup breadcrumbs. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1 teaspoon paprika. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/2 teaspoon onion powder. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. 2 eggs, beaten.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 400F 200C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet. Put breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper in a shallow bowl. Mix them together. Dip each chicken piece into the beaten eggs, and then cover it all over with the breadcrumb mixture. Spread the chicken pieces out on the baking sheet that has been prepared. After the oven is hot, bake the chicken for 15 to 20 minutes, or until it is fully cooked and crispy. Serve hot with the sauce of your choice.
