“Om Mani Pedme Hum” es una mantra en el budismo tibetano que se recita cuando mueves la rueda en sentido al reloj. En este cartel uso un símbolo sagrado para los tibetanos. La represión por parte del régimen totalitario chino pretende hacer desaparecer la cultura de esta pequeña nación en su totalidad. La invasión de China a Tibet desde los últimos años de la década de los 50’s a causado el genocidio a la tierra del Dalai Lama, quien vive en el exilio desde 1959. Desde marzo del 2011, mas de 120 tibetanos se han inmolado en señal de protesta. #FreeTibet
“Om Mani Pedme Hum” is a mantra used in Tibetan buddhism while using the prayer wheel. I’ve used a sacred symbol for Tibetans as the main focus. The repression against Tibet by the Chinese totalitarian regime aims to disappear this peaceful people from the face of the Earth. In invasion of the Dalai Lama’s small nation has been the cause of a genocide. The Dalai Lama has lived in exile since 1959. Since March 2011, over 120 Tibetan have self immolated as a sign of protest. #FreeTibet.
