Derek had stuck close as long as he could to the room. But when he got a text from Scott telling him there’d been another murder he had to leave. And now the sun was coming up and all he wanted to do was go back to the house and pass the fuck out. And he’d be doing that if he didn’t have a niggling feeling in the back of his head to go check on the girl. For Christ-sakes he didn’t even know her name but he felt the need to be sure she wasn’t dead in a ditch or something. She seemed different than any Argent he’d met but to be fair Kate was not a fair measure against anyone. And that thought was dangerous in it’s self.

so I can see Evie and Kendra lowkey looking up to Nora like a big sister? Like not in any obvious kind of way but they both definitely look up to her as like this cool, badass chick.
The sharing of leather jackets? Yes, I think so.
Kendra and Evie definitely pick up on Nora and Derek having a think for each other before they ever get together.
In that same vein, Kendra and Nora definitely pick up on Evie’s crush on Stiles, and Evie and Nora pick up on Kendra’s feelings for Scott. I see them all teasing each other a lot.

Prepare for a potentially long list?- both are way too sarcastic for their own good- Adrian is so used to acting as the authoritative older sibling and wouldn’t transition well to being reduced to the middle sibling role.- I think Nora would feel bad that her recklessness resulted in Adrian’s training being accelerated- they wouldn’t have maintained much of a relationship while Nora was gone -Nora would be hurt but not surprised that Adrian kept her at a distance. He would have been hurt that she stayed away for so long and now with Chris whispering in Adrian’s ear, he doesn’t know if Nora’s the same person he remembers.- The one thing they both can agree is on is Allison is too precious for this world and needs to be protected 25/8.-For a while, Allison acted as a balm between the two.- Their relationship doesn’t start to improve until they have to train together. They’d throw goading insults and finish off laughing, neither realizing when this shift in their relationship occured- Nora would be hella protective of Adrian after he’s turned.- THEY WOULD ROAST THE FUCK OUT OF EACH OTHER OMG (but like, in that loving sibling way only they can get away with and if anyone else tried it they would get beat)- Adrian would shoot heart eyes at Nora’s motorcycle but would never ask to ride it- they both bond over being family disgraces - Nora would want to burn all of Adrian’s threadbare grandpa sweaters and replace it with a dope leather jacket.- both are werewolf hunters and end up dating wolves ¯\_(ツ)_/¯- Adrian hates all the guys Nora dates and would square up at a moments notice- Nora would prevent Adrian from training with Kate as much as possible- Adrian would pick up on Nora’s withdrawal shakes - There would be a full moon where Adrian escaped and Nora’s heart would drop. She’d pray to whatever god that cared to listen that Adrian didn’t kill anyone. She’d find him in the forest just before sunrise covered in blood and sobbing because he ate a rabbit.

Splintered // Chapter 8 // Forged Into Hard Steel
John Stilinski was bone tired. He’d been up most of the night at the video store organizing forensic teams and the coroner. What was happening in this town? He’d seen some crazy shit in this town over the years. Twenty plus years in Beacon Hills afforded a lot of strange calls in the middle of the night. A murder not being the strangest but an animal attack like that? Definitely top ten for sure. And that was how he knew he was really tired, his thoughts were starting to sound like Stiles.
The law man got up from the creaky kitchen chair to grab what had to be his tenth cup of coffee since coming home. He’s was very glad it was still early and Stiles was sleeping, there was sure to be a lecture on his caffeine intake otherwise. Back fueled up he sat back down in front of the mess of case files. Something seemed off about these supposed animal attacks. They seemed too random, too close to town. He knew that the new forest ranger in town would know more than him but it was this footage they’d gotten at the video store that really blew that theory to bits. He’d never seen an animal walk on two legs before. But the ranger said it was common for mountain lions that were out of there mind with disease. Maybe he’d have to stop by the vet clinic, Deaton seemed to be more knowledgeable about these things. Plus he had a K9 Unit officer who needed a check up.

This was harder to explain, obviously she couldn’t tell the Sheriff that they’d threatened to kill her, “they know things that I’ve done. Things while I was high. Things she’ll never forgive.”
“So either way your sister loses you?” she nodded still unable to look at him, “but if you stay you could at least try to explain and fight for her?”
Nora looked up her expression more vulnerable than he thought she was capable of, “yeah,” a tiny smile worked it’s way onto her face.
“I think you just made your decision,” he finished with the last of his food.
