Desserts I Ate This Month~~ :3
Finally got around to visiting Noreetuh, a Hawaiian-style eatery in the East Village the other day. We actually went during the weekend to try out their well-known brunch menu, which I was dying to try out. I ordered a Lychee Bellini for my drink and an order of the Crispy Berkshire Pork potstickers. For my brunch entree, I ordered the Hawaiian Breakfast (Portuguese sausage, spam, garlic rice, mac salad, and two sunnyside fried eggs), which didn’t disappoint, and somehow saved enough room for dessert: a pineapple upside down cake with coconut and pineapple ice cream. Pretty much everything from start to finish was A++ en pointe and totally scrumptious, with bold, memorable flavors, though I have to admit that the Pineapple Upside Down Cake was worth the wait, and the trip alone. I’d love to try some of their other Hawaiian-specialty dishes, like maybe the Mochiko Fried Heritage Chicken or the Korean BBQ Short Ribs, the next time I’m in the area.
