Norine's Nest brings you a delightful twist on the classic turkey sandwich. These hot cranberry turkey sandwiches are perfect for a cozy meal, combining the savory goodness of turkey with the tangy sweetness of cranberry sauce.
Ingredients: 1 pound sliced turkey breast. 1 cup whole berry cranberry sauce. 8 slices of bread. 8 slices of provolone cheese. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 1/4 cup butter, softened. 1 teaspoon dried thyme. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 190C 375F. Each piece of bread should have butter on one side. Get a small bowl and mix the garlic powder, thyme, and mayonnaise together. Put some of the mayonnaise mix on the other side of each piece of bread. Put four slices of bread on a baking sheet with the butter side down. Put sliced turkey, cranberry sauce, and provolone cheese on top of each one. Add the last slices of bread, buttered side up, on top. For 10 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese melts and the sandwiches are warm all the way through, bake in an oven that has already been heated up. Cut it up and serve it hot. Have fun!
