In Santa, Sunrises, & Suspicions by Tonya Kappes, we return to Normal, Kentucky. Mae West, the Laundry Club Ladies, and her other friends are rehearsing for the Christmas story. But a murder puts all that pageantry on hold due to a homicide. Ms. Kappes has well-crafted characters and has the down-home feeling of a small town down pat. Add a little or a lot of humor, throw in a pinch of mystery and you have Normal, Kentucky, and Mae West and friends. I would happily recommend this book.

Eggnog, Extortion and Evergreens is another Mae West of Normal Kentucky cozy mystery, While Mae is unconscious in the Emergency Department she overhears a murder plot. As she begins to recover from her concussion parts of her memory start to return. Again Mae West takes us on an unpredictable ride as she and her friends try to solve this murder. Great Tonya Kappes cozy mystery. #Tonyakappes

Kickbacks, Kayaks, and Kidnapping: A Camper and Criminals Cozy Mystery by Tonya Kappes ia an entertaining and interesting read. Mae West has conceived a plan for a "Paddle Fest". Of course Happy Trails Camp Ground will be the center of the events but Normal, Kentucky and the other campsites in The Daniel Boone National Forest will benefit from the event as well. But as so often happens in Normal nothing goes as planned. As the Opening Ceremonies are kicked off the main competitor is found dead in his kayak. His death is not an accident either. Mae and the Laundry Club Ladies seem to stay one step ahead of Hank (Mae's boyfriend) and the sheriff's department as they race to solve this mystery and restore Mae's Happy Trail's Campground and the Paddle Fest to good standing. I would definitely recommend this book.
