Um... so... I’m sure everyone on this site has already seen this.... but I just discovered it for the first time tonight and am completely stunned (photos and info taken from here - https://www.comicbookmovie.com/thor/thor-concept-art-of-unused-nornheim-realm-home-of-the-rock-trolls-a92364).
“Conceptual illustrator Wil Rees, helped designed the fantastical worlds seen in Kenneth Branagh's 2011 film, Thor, like Jotunheim and Asgard. What you may not know, is that Rees also designed the Nornheim realm, aka home of the Rock Trolls."

~Fandral’s mother’s garden~ {He fell into the little white flowers when he tried to sneak out through his window}
Mom, Dad, I'm...
Fandral had been working on packing a bag or two for the last few days because for some reason, he was having a hard time motivating himself to get everything ready. It was two days before the week he left for Nornheim each year to visit his parents. He had yet to tell them about Hermes, or even tell them that he was interested in /men/. So, needless to say, he was nervous about going this year. He shook his head, turning on his side to look at Hermes as he lay beside him. He was waking slowly. He knew he had to tell them eventually, and he could not go another year without them knowing, no matter their reaction. When Hermes was fully awake, he asked, rather stupidly, “Have you ever been to Nornheim?”
@agodlybooty
Dumb question perhaps - but where the heck is Nornheim in the context of MCU? It’s mentioned as being a realm, but it’s clearly not one of the nine realms that make up Yggdrasil. I know how it fits mythology wise, and it’s been mentioned twice in the movies. You need the Bifrost to reach it. But where is it, who are its inhabitants? What am I missing?
