and before you ask yes I am biased despite reading both series, Mare would win a landslide, and yes no dragons or others allowed.

and yes I am aware that I am pitting girls against each other but there is a very different characterisation of these two, despite having more or less the same ability and story arc, that I find is (really hopefully not based on) the colour of their skin.
