how does it feel to be a hero
Today has been so surreal!! When I saw the birds this morning (my goats were very alarmed) and reached out, I was hoping I could catch them and either reunite them with their owner or find them a good home, but I never would have guessed that Kedreeva knew these specific birds personally!
I wasn't able to catch them before I had to leave for work, and I was so worried they would wander off before I got home. My property is fenced but obviously not peacock-proof lol. I left them some food and water to hopefully entice them to stay, and either that or pure chance worked! They were at the very back of my property though, just to keep me on my toes haha.
I have to give a lot of kudos to their breeder, as they were super docile and gentle, and happy to take peanuts from me even after I tricked them into the makeshift pen ❤️ They really didn't resist too much when their owner picked them up either!
And huge thanks to @kedreeva as well for all their help! I would have had no idea what to do otherwise, and who knows where they would have ended up!
Also their owner is delightful and I may have made a new friend, so another added benefit.
