The Northern Command is one of the part of the Indian Army. The Indian Army was divided into four Commands (Bengal Command, Bombay Command, Madras Command and Punjab Command) each under a lieutenant general. The Northern Command was originally formed on 1892 as a formation of the British Indian Army. The HQ Northern Command, ADM Branch, C/O 56 APO has also various units, so every year the department needs for young and talented candidates for their units. This year also the department has been announced the notification for Northern Command Recruitment 2016. This notification has been announced for filling total 11 posts of the Stenographer Grade-II, Lower Division Clerk, Typist (Hindi), Messenger (Msgr), Mail and Barber. For applying any candidates age should be between 18-25 years for General, 18-28 for OBC & 18-30 for SC/ ST category and should possess 12 th pass or equivalent for S.No-1, 12 th pass or equivalent with English typing @35 wpm on computer or Hindi typing @30 wpm on computer. Any interested and eligible candidates can apply by sending their application form with all relevant documents to Admin Officer, HQ Northern Command, PIN 908545, C/O 56 APO from before 18th July 2016.
