★ Sigyn is one of the very few that Bucky feels a genuine connection to. A lot of it stems from their time in HYDRA, and the almost-telepathic bond that had formed between them during their times in cryostasis.
★ Even the Asset has a profound respect in the woman and what she can do, a feat alone that’s incredibly difficult to accomplish; given his track record for being underwhelmed by the abilities and potential of many. Something that he won’t admit, is that their missions together were always his favorite. Seeing her on the field was quite the show.
★ Bucky has the ability to sense her from a good distance, knowing she’s coming before he even sees her. Due to their link, and his increased sensibility to anything that isn’t human. An aura like hers radiates power, and he should be intimidated and almost suffocated by it; but it actually gives him a strange sense of comfort.
★ Without question, Bucky adores her to death.
★ The way Bucky feels about her is so strong, that even the Asset is able to pick up on this. If he tries to hurt her, it feels like two magnets pushing each other away. Because of Bucky, there’s always a restraint to the Winter Soldier.
★ Anytime Bucky sees Ramen, he’s instantly reminded of Sigyn. Not only is he reminded, but he actually always purchases a big pack for her.
★ Lack of knowledge to ‘Midgardian’ lifestyles and tradition, isn’t seen as ignorant in the least bit. In fact, he finds this incredibly endearing and tries his best to explain things to her. Mostly, he doesn’t understand how a lot of things work anymore, either. So, he tries to figure things out with her (while still pretending to know what he’s doing).
★ Gods and Goddesses are a bit of a perplexing topic for him, because he was raised to believe in one God (which was wiped from him), so now he’s relearning religions and finding about about her kind. Bucky still hasn’t come to the determination of whether she really is a Goddess (his theory is an alien) - but he still respects her enough to call her a Goddess. He’ll even come in her defense if someone tries calling her otherwise.
★ As much as he knows how well Sigyn is able to handle herself in battle, he does prefer to have her out of it. If anything, he was a bit aggravated when she was included in the battle against Thanos - his recommendation having been that she should stick with the healers. He knows how powerful she is, and that she can watch her back better than many of them; but he knows there’s power bubbling inside of her that’s better left untouched.
★ And because of course, he’s attached, more so than a lot of the others since their development dwells deeper than physically or emotionally. She’s one of the rare encounters that Bucky is afraid to lose in his life.
★ Bucky is someone that hardly notices someone’s outward appearance. Yet there’s Sigyn, who he has difficulties keeping his eyes off of. She has a very surreal appearance that he’d never seen before, so he has the tendency of finding himself captivated (perhaps because she’s an actual Goddess?).
