well, i consider trans josuke to be pretty much exactly the same as cis josuke! his body doesn’t change the rest of who he is^^ i’m trans too, so i like to write about someone who’s similar to me! i guess you could say i see myself in him, or i see who i want to be in him ^u^
i write about a josuke who is happy and transitioned as far as he wants to go, because i already deal with the more sad dysphoria stuff in my real life, and i just want to write for someone who’s been through it and come out happier for his hard work to get where he needs to be.
and, of course, us trans guys need a little loving too! i’m happy to provide, cuz there’s a real dearth of fics that use trans headcanons. though i think you’ll notice, in my vampire au, josuke is cis -- mostly because when i started writing it, i hadn’t considered making him trans. by the time i started writing trans josuke, i figured i’d keep him cis for that fic and then i guess switch it up depending on my mood for my other one-shots and stuff! the only difference between the two is really his body. everything else is the same! ^o^
